R1: Elfer Trail

Very beautiful, alpine trail running tour with magnificent views of Lake Reschen and the Ortler Group.

The tour is signposted from the Haideralm via the Elferspitze to the Schöneben cable car and is also suitable for beginners due to the moderate distances. The ascent to the Elferspitze is easy to manage with a little surefootedness. The route leads over easy boulder terrain via the Zwölferkopf down to the Schöneben Hütte. You can then take the Schöneben cable car and bus back to the Haideralm valley station. If you still feel like it, you can extend this tour a little and walk the fantastic high-level trail from the Schöneben mountain station to the Haideralm mountain station.
