A completely new format in trail running that’s somewhat reminiscent of the Tour de France. You’ll run the most beautiful trail running routes in the five adventure regions of Kaunertal, Tyrolean Oberland, Engadin, Nauders, and Reschensee—all ranging from 15 to 27 km and 1,100 to 1,700 hm. There’s certainly no other event like it here that offers such scenically stunning and varied routes. An absolute highlight for every trail runner.

The Terra Raetica Trails Tour Festival is a 5-day trail running event that was organized as a follow-up to the Interreg project Terra Raetica Trails.
In close collaboration with the regions of Tiroler Oberland, Nauders, Kaunertal, Samnaun, and Reschensee, a network of trails spanning approximately 700 kilometers—comprising 34 trails and one ultra-distance route—was developed between 2020 and 2022.
Since its premiere in 2023, participants have enjoyed five days of pure trail running each year on the five most beautiful routes of the Terra Raetica Trails. Five regions, five stages, one extraordinary experience for sports enthusiasts and nature lovers.
Sports events with minimal waste and as little environmental impact as possible. “It can’t be done,” many say. “Yes, it can,” says the organizing team of the Terra Raetica Trails Tour Festival. With the support of Klimabündnis Tirol, the event earned the GREEN EVENT TIROL basic certification.
As trail running organizers, nature and the mountains are especially close to our hearts—they’re not just our running routes, but also our passion and our responsibility. That’s why it’s important to us to be recognized as a Green Event and to actively contribute to environmental protection through concrete measures: Among other things, we use an electric car as our transport vehicle, use reusable cups, reduce waste and plastic, collaborate with regional partners, promote eco-friendly travel through carpooling platforms and incentives, and invest in a climate protection project about which we report transparently. In this way, we create an event experience that respects nature and preserves it sustainably.
In the spring of 2026, the Terra Raetica Trails Tour Festival received official recognition from the state.
