K5: Kaunertal-Piller Höhe

Another wonderful high-altitude trail that leads from the Kaunertal out of the valley to the Kaunergrat Nature Park House on the Piller Höhe.

From the starting point in Platz, briefly follow the road to Nufels and then the forest path to the Falkaunalm. Now begins the “Panoramaweg”, which lives up to its name and offers a magnificent view of the Oberinntal and Kaunertal valleys. You always walk above the tree line along the beautiful trail. After just under 9 kilometres, you have reached the highest point and the trail descends gently towards the Piller Höhe. At the Aifner Alm you can stop for refreshments and then enjoy the last section through the sparse mountain forest to the Piller Höhe. POI=Point of Interest
