A trail running tour doesn’t get much more beautiful than this: steep climbs, a fantastic high-altitude trail and a fun trail back down into the valley.
But beware, surefootedness and a head for heights are a must! From the starting point at the car park in Platz, the route climbs gently to Nufels. Soon turn right and head up to the Gallruthalm. The Dr Angerer Steig trail begins shortly before the mountain pasture. The narrow path leads up and down towards the Verpeilalm. Sloping passages are well defused with a wire rope, but of course you shouldn’t stumble. At the Gsallalm (a small hunting lodge), you can refresh yourself by the stream before the last part of the high-altitude trail begins. With a bit of luck, you might even spot ibex or a golden eagle! After a downhill with numerous hairpin bends, you reach the Verpeilalm. Via trails and finally via the forest path, you reach the end of this magnificent tour in Feichten. POI=Point of Interest
